1. Who this is about

Algodyne Corporation, a corporation organised in Delaware, United States, operates algodyne.com. This policy describes what the site does with personal data. It is short because the site does very little.

It covers this website only. A product operated by Algodyne or by one of its ventures publishes its own policy covering that product.

2. What we collect

Two things, neither of which requires you to press anything:

• IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp, recorded automatically when a page is served. Delivering the site, keeping it available, and investigating abuse or attack traffic. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — operating and defending a public website. Retention: held by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule; we keep no copy.
• Your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write to us. Reading and answering what you sent. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — responding to someone who contacted us first. Retention: kept while the conversation is live and for as long as the business record is useful.

3. What we do not do

Stated explicitly, because an absence is worth as much as a disclosure and this site is unusual in how little it does:

• We set no cookies. Not for sessions, not for preferences, not for analytics.
• We store nothing in your browser — no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no fingerprint.
• We run no analytics or advertising script of any kind, first-party or third-party.
• There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that submit anything.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, and we never have.

Because we set no cookies and run no tracking, there is nothing for a consent banner to ask you about, and you will not see one.

4. Who else handles it

Serving a page and delivering an email both involve suppliers. These are all of them:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, DNS, and edge delivery. Requests for pages on this site, and the logs described above.
• Cloudflare Email Routing — forwarding mail sent to our published addresses. Messages you send to an @algodyne.com address, in transit.
• Google LLC — mailbox provider for the destination our mail is forwarded to. Messages you send to an @algodyne.com address, at rest.

Each acts on our instructions and is bound to use what it handles only to provide that service.

5. Where it goes

We operate from the United States, and the suppliers above process data there. If you contact us from outside the United States, what you send is transferred there and handled under this policy.

6. Your rights

Wherever you are, and regardless of which statute happens to apply to you, we will honour all of the following:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Have anything inaccurate corrected
• Have it deleted
• Object to what we are doing with it, or ask us to restrict it
• Receive it in a portable, machine-readable form
• Withdraw consent where consent is what we relied on
• Complain to your national data protection authority

Make a request on our data request page or by writing to upgrade@algodyne.com. We answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, and asking costs you nothing.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Holding almost no data is the strongest control available to us, and it is the one we rely on. To report a vulnerability, see our Security Policy.

9. Changes

If what the site does changes, this policy changes in the same commit — the copy above is generated from the same record that describes the site, so the two cannot drift apart. The date at the top is the last time that record changed.
